A very freckled Christmas

Hi beautiful friends,

Now that the holidays are halfway over, I thought it would be great to take a second and reflect on this holiday season. Due to my Italian family being sooo big, it’s almost impossible to gather everyone together and really get to see the whole family during the holidays so we always have to plan in advance and decide which family members to get together with. Since my grandpa came all the way from Sicily to spend the holidays with my dad’s side of the family we did just that. It was a rather small group of approximately 14 people.

Soooo, here are a few impressions of my Christmas. I really hope you all had a good time during the holidays and that you enjoyed yourselves as well as the time spent with your loved ones.

Things that make me happy… #blogtober14 Day 19

… I know, I know, I skipped a couple of days, but I think everyone who has to take ridiculous exams on a Saturday is excused, right? Alright, glad we got that out of the way!

Today’s prompt is about things that make me happy. Obviously people count their blessings in life (or at least they should), therefore, this post should be super easy. Well, right before I started composing this new entry, that’s exactly what I thought. But as you can see, I’m procrastinating starting this list, because I’m trying to buy myself some time here. Ahh… ok, I’ll try to list a few things!

What makes a freckled face happy?

A taste of Germany – Brauhaus Goldener Engel in Ingelheim

Taaadaa!

Early today I announced that I will be adding a new category to the blog and here it is – “Munchin” (!!!) This category will be all about food, as I love to go out to eat and thought to myself “Hey, why not share it with the whole world and suggest places and food?!” So, after my lovely lunch date today, I will let you know where and what I ate and if you ever end up being in the area you can check this spot out yourselves.
